Meade LS Series
The Meade LS (LightSwitch) series of telescopes are great for the beginner and experienced astronomer alike. The LightSwitch technology enables the user to simply flick a switch and the LS telescope knows exactly where it is and aligns itself accordingly. You can take pictures using the inbulit ECLIPS CDD camera which gives an image resolution of 640 x 480) and the AutoStar III keypad computer helps you find your favourite celestial objects from its 100,000 plus catalogue.
The Meade LightSwitch series comes with two aperature options, a 6 inch model and a larger 8 inch version. Both of these also have two different optical design options, namely the Advanced Coma-Free and Schmidt-Cassegrain.
