Product Details
The AstroMaster series of telescopes from Celestron is ideal as an entry-level scope. They range in price from US$166 for the basic 70AZ up to $332 for the 130EQ. The altazimuth models can be used for terrestial viewing as well celestial observation whilst the EQ models are ideal for observing the night sky. All models will show vivid detail of objects such as the moon, the moons of Jupiter and Saturn's rings.
All optical elements are made from glass and the steel tripod mountings ensure smooth operation using the manual controls.
