Konustart Details
The Konus Konustart range of telescopes consists of two refractors aimed at the beginner amateur astronomer. The only difference between the two models is the aperature at 60mm for the smaller unit and 70 mm for its big brother. Both models have a 900mm focal length and eq motorised mount powered by two nine volt batteries.
Two eyepieces are supplied, one an 8mm model, the other 20mm and a 'sturdy' tripod is provided.
A Konustart telescopes would make great a starter scope for someone on a tight budget. They are not great telescopes but just right for a beginner.
