Meade Infinity Refracting Telescope Series
A Meade Infinity telescope is great introduction for the beginner astronomer or a casual observer of the night sky. Whilst the telescopes do not boast great specs, their entry level price range enables you to get a feel for the hobby before spending more money on a more sophisticated telescope.
The Infinity range consists of refracting telescopes coming with an altazimuth mount and the AutoStar® Suite Astronomer Edition Software on DVD. Each telescope has a number of inter-changeable eyepieces. These allow the user to vary the magnification of the telescope as required.
Their light weight also means they are easily transportable should the observer wish to find a dark sky location.
The telescope is designed for both astro and terestial use, so don't expect great results, but as an introduction the novice astronomer can't go far wrong with one of the Meade Infinity Series.
