Meade Telescopes

Meade are the world's largest manufacturer of telescopes and initially started production in Irvine in California. They now produce a large range of telescopes and accessories for the amateur astronomer as well as binoculars, microscopes and weather stations.

Meade's telescope range starts with the entry level ETX series and goes right up to the MAX ACF observatory class telescopes. There are plenty of options in between to suit your budget and experience. Being the largest manufacturer of telescopes there are always used Meade telescopes available for those on a smaller budget. As well as used telescopes there's always a great range of Meade parts and accessories available.

Below we have categorised each of Meade's production telescope ranges into the their appropriate experience category and give a cost guide for each range, there may well be a number of telescopes within a range so the cost may vary dramatically across the range. We also indicate what kind of night sky objects may be observed with each range.
